Retirement at Walt Disney World ?
In 2024oct, Walt Disney World began another test to become Harv’s luxury campus for what he speculated was to be his “real retirement.”
In hindsight, he had an affinity to WDW, established long before his other and many forgotten brushes with retirement scenes. As Illustration Seven portrays, WDW has played a larger role in Harv’s life.flow, than he realized prior to 2024oct, that is,

Or, in practical functional terms, Harv’s actualization of “Aging at a Luxury Campus” has evolved through the years and decades.
Harv’s Life.flow travel propensity
Early on in his life.flow, he speculated that his travel days would take place early in his life.flow, rather than later, specifically in retirement. So he traveled — with family — for the job — and he also traveled to chase a retirement scene.
Harv’s senior housing experience
After several years at and around the Four Townes Orange City Council On Aging (COA) senior center, Harv with a smile says, “I hate old people.” He simply doesn’t fit the “bingo” profile.
What is Harv’s profile ?
Harv’s life, and specifically his life.work.life, is through out the day, internet connectivity oriented — ironically, only attained as an 86yo in 2024.
His future is more computer intensity, not less — that computer-less reflects much difficulty in the years of toil since his first personal computer purchase in 1980 — FOURTY-FIVE YEARS AGO !
the external culture v internal self-interest
Through post-Phd study, Harv has realized that his brain has practiced reasoning, perhaps from birth.
Throughout his life he has refined that reasoning to functionally-organized-thinking in the interest of satisficing his self-interest — with the definition of his self-interest a Whole other topic !
And throughout those 86 years he has been pressured / stressed by his external culture / tradition to conform to other than his self-interest — perhaps he was never selfish enough? But to an observer of Harv’s life.part(s), he could be judged as selfish in that he actualized much — perhaps jealousy on the observer’s part especially if the observer was a non-cooperator with Harv.
For Harv’s part to “actualize much,” he chose to go against “the external culture.” He repeats — He simply doesn’t fit the “bingo” profile.
His decades of car-life exemplifies his opposition to external culture pressure / stress / punishment. Now again, Harv moves from ‘bingo’ to real retirement at Walt Disney World integrated evermore with all-day computing. P.S. COA was overtly anti-computing.

The “aging campuses” will probably not please Harv ! Thus he is left to his own devices to “create real retirement,” IF HE MAY BE OVERLOOKING, in fact he may already be in his real retirement but yet cannot see it — thus he reasons via functionally organized written thinking.
The question being — how (the Way) to perpetuate his “MAYBE in real retirement RIGHT NOW” ?
